Three youngsters walked around eight miles to raise money for charity and keep fit.
Ruby Doyle, 7, Devon Henson, 8, and and Isla Henson, 6, pupils at Kneesall Primary School, collected more than £1,500 for Beaumond House Community Hospice, Newark.
They walked from the Hay Barn Café, Kneesall, via Laxton and Egmanton to The Birds Nest Coffee Lounge, Weston, accompanied by their mothers, Paula Doyle and Luan Henson.
The children wanted to spend their summer holidays working towards the fitness goal while raising money for a worthy cause.
They chose Beaumond House because “it is a charity that is very close to our hearts and does some amazing work in our local community.”
They walked through fields and along paths to avoid roads, stopping off at The Dovecote Inn, Laxton, for drinks.
When they arrived at the The Birds Nest Coffee Lounge, owner Lesley Tindall greeted them with a balloon arch.
