Pupils at St Mary’s School, Edwinstowe. were jumping for joy after a new shed was installed to store their scooters and other items.
Headteacher Miss Parkin said: “It is a real asset to keep the children’s equipment under cover.”
The project was made possible by local teamwork by the Rotary Club of Sherwood Forest, which bought the shed; Adam O’Brien, Harworth Group project manager, and colleagues who erected the shed while working on the nearby Thoresby Vale development; and Nick Hatfield, of City Signs, Ollerton, which donated a plaque placed over the shed door.
