People pledging to shop local

Three in five people (59%) across the Midlands are planning to ‘shop local’ and support local stores such as butchers after the Covid-19 crisis and lockdown, research from Legal & General and Cebr has revealed.

A surge of adults – 18% – across the East Midlands have also started volunteering during the crisis according to the FTSE100 financial services group’s Isolation Economy Report.
