Motorfinity and Audi donate A1 ride-on cars to Newark Children’s Bereavement Centre

Posted onPosted on 15th Jun

Newark-based specialist car discount service Motorfinity has teamed up with Audi to donate three children’s miniature Audi A1 cars to the Children’s Bereavement Centre in the town.

The battery-powered ride-on cars, provided by Motorfinity partners Audi, will be used by the centre as gifts for the younger children.

The donation marks the first of many from Motorfinity, which is leading a drive to raise funds for the centre and nearby charity Beaumond House Community Hospice.

Motorfinity will be raffling off an additional two children’s Audi A1 cars for Newark’s Dragon Boat Race Festival, an annual event which launched in 2019 as a fundraising project for the two charities. It will take place on Sunday, 19th September.

The team also has a range of other fundraising activities due to take place over the coming months to raise money for both charities. These include an upcoming dress-up day and various sponsored activities.

Dean Skiba, chief operating officer at Motorfinity, said: “Each year, we make every effort to keep charities in our hometown of Newark close to our hearts and the work that the Children’s Bereavement Centre and Beaumond House do day-in day-out is so inspiring. As a result, we have pledged to raise as much money as possible for both charities over the coming months.

“We can’t thank Audi enough for their special donations. The cars will help to bring so much joy to families and young children going through some of the most difficult times imaginable at the Children’s Bereavement Centre, a space which does so much to help young people who have been affected by a death or a terminal illness. Now our fundraising has been kickstarted, we can’t wait to raise even more for both charities.”
