Nottinghamshire County Council said it was urging local people to do their bit as it seeks to recruit a huge team of temporary social care and support workers.

They will help provide vital care to older and disabled people across Nottinghamshire during the coronavirus crisis.

The council is looking for people who can work flexibly 24/7 around the county. No previous experience is needed and the council will provide training and pay.
