Posted onPosted on 20th Aug

Sherwood Forest Hospitals Foundation Trust, which runs King’s Mill Hospital, Sutton; Newark Hospital and Mansfield Community Hospital, is to host an online public Q&A session for people from Mansfield, Sutton and Newark on 26th August, from 5pm.

The online event, run via Microsoft Teams, will be hosted by the trust’s chief executive Richard Mitchell; Dr David Selwyn, medical director; Simon Barton, chief operating officer and Julie Hogg, chief nurse.

The trust executives will update attendees on how it is restoring more of its services and what patients will experience when they come back to one of the trust’s hospital sites.

Questions can be emailed to sfh-tr.communications@nhs.net or can be asked at the time of the event.

Julie Hogg said: “We recognise that this is a confusing time for patients and relatives and we want to reassure them that we are doing everything possible to keep our hospitals safe and to keep our services running as near to normal as we are able to.

“We would also like to thank the North Nottinghamshire community for their continued support and understanding during this time.”

The Q&A session will be run via Microsoft Teams and people will be able to watch via a web browser at https://bit.ly/3iPGSl5
