Newark woman’s first book will help charity

Share:

A Newark woman’s first book is raising money for the NHS.

Kathy Davies – writing under the name Kathy Kingsley – has published Regrets? on Amazon. She said all the profits from the book for the rest of 2020 would go to NHS Charities Together to support keyworkers during the coronavirus crisis.

The book is a sad, emotional, hard hitting but ultimately uplifting journey of self discovery for the main character, Laurie, who is married with three young children and has a job she loves and, supposedly, has it all… or she would have if it wasn’t for her arrogant, domineering, chauvinistic husband.

As their marriage begins to crumble, Laurie meets Mike and she falls in love.

But upon discovering their affair, Rich, a solicitor by profession, delivers an ultimatum. Choose Mike and she won’t get the girls, he will make sure of that.

So Laurie faces a heart breaking decision.
