Posted onPosted on 17th Mar

Farnsfield Cricket Club is hosting a Coronation Cricket Women’s and Girls’ Softball Cricket Festival on Sunday, 7th May, from 11am.

The free event at the cricket ground on Station Road, Farnsfield, aims to attract women to the sport, irrespective of their age or ability.

Local women’s teams will be playing softball cricket and anyone can go and try batting, bowling, and fielding in the numerous cricket activities that will be on offer.

There will be a BBQ, licensed bar, and something for all the family. Further information will be at https://farnsfieldcricketclub.co.uk/ and the club’s Facebook page.

Farnsfield Cricket Club’s Women’s Section has been playing in the Nottinghamshire County Indoor Cricket League, reaching the knockout stage.

The team is now looking forward to playing in the Summer Softball League.

Anyone interested in joining should contact enquiries@farnsfieldcricketclub.co.uk.
