Ex-Nottinghamshire police officer and television’s renowned “Human Lie Detector”, Darren Stanton, will make a special appearance at the Lizian Wellbeing Show at Newark Showground on 14th and 15th February, where he will meet attendees and sign copies of his new book, Dark Art Psychology.

Darren Stanton is widely recognised for his appearances on ITV’s Judge Rinder’s Crime Stories and The Interrogation Room. He has also been used by the national media as a resident body language and behaviour expert, analysing many well-known and popular television shows, including The Traitors, Strictly Come Dancing, and I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!.

He has built an international reputation as one of the UK’s leading experts in body language, deception detection, and human behaviour. His ability to analyse communication and uncover hidden emotions has made him a sought-after media commentator, keynote speaker, and behavioural specialist.

During the Lizian Wellbeing Show, Darren will be available to meet visitors, discuss the fascinating science behind reading body language, and sign copies of Dark Art Psychology, which explores how people can better understand non-verbal communication, improve relationships, and recognise deceptive behaviour in everyday life.

The Lizian Wellbeing Show at Newark Showground is one of the region’s most popular events dedicated to health, personal development, and holistic wellbeing, attracting visitors from across the Midlands and beyond.

“I’m really looking forward to attending the Lizian Wellbeing Show and meeting everyone,” he said. “Understanding body language and communication can transform both personal and professional relationships, and I’m excited to share some of these insights with attendees while signing copies of Dark Art Psychology.”

The event takes place on Friday, 14th February and Saturday, 15th February.
