Edingley Lodge care home prepared a traditional Burns Night Supper to the tune of bagpipes.
Staff and residents at the Edingley home learned Scottish country dancing and a ceilidh to mark the occasions.
General manager Jilu Stephen at Edingley Lodge said it was the perfect occasion to celebrate an evening steeped in tradition, which included whisky tasting, reading a selection of Burns’ poems, a virtual tour of the Robbie Burns Museum, and dessert making.
She added: “Our residents enjoyed a hearty meal of Scotch broth and haggis with neeps and tatties, all prepared by our chef. We also had great fun discovering how much we knew about Scotland in a quiz.”
