Arts and crafts competition to inspire youngsters’ home creativity

Posted onPosted on 21st Apr

UK Online toy retailer Bargain Max has launched a competition across Mansfield to look for the very best arts and craft talent from children aged 0-16.

With families stuck at home looking for ways to entertain their children, parents are now being asked to enter their children’s homemade creations for a chance to win a Bargain Max gift voucher worth £100.

The competition welcomes anything craft related: painting, drawing, sewing, felting, origami, sculpture, construction, and so on. A parent or guardian of hopeful entrants will be required to submit a photograph of their child’s homemade entry via either Facebook or Instagram.

To be within a chance of winning one of three prizes, your children’s creations will need to be original and fall into the wider remit of ‘arts and crafts’. Perhaps that could be a drawing or a painting? Or if you are feeling like trying sculpture or construction, you could enter your very best Play-Doh or Lego designs!

The competition is open for six weeks, with the closing date 18th May. Families interested in entering their children’s creations should go to www.bargainmax.co.uk/arts-and-crafts-competition

A spokesperson for Bargain Max said: “What a fun and fantastic way to get your children excited by entering our arts and crafts competition. We are looking for any art or craft specialism and that could be a variety of things from painting, drawing or origami, to crafty entries such as Lego designs!

“The competition is open to children aged 0-16 but we please ask the parent or guardian to enter their children’s creations via our Facebook or Instagram channel. Very best of luck to everyone and we hope it brings you lots of fun!”
