The Dean of Southwell, the Very Rev Nicola Sullivan, welcomed visitors to the launch of an exhibition by Hungarian artists, called Human Gold, at Southwell Minster.

Seventeen artists are displaying their work 6th March.

Two of them — Norbert David and Ervin David — were at the launch and chatted to people about the inspiration behind their work based on universal human values.

The exhibition was arranged by Timea Crowdy, who lives in Southwell, but was born in Hungary and wanted to bring Hungarian art to the UK.

She has two sons, one of whom is a chorister at the minster — and is raising funds for the choir through the exhibition.
