SPECIALIST car discount provider Motorfinity has joined forces with She’s Electric to launch EVOLVE HOUSE, an event designed to reward the women who keep the nation moving, with a day to recharge and explore how sustainability could look in their life.
Taking place on Sunday 28 September at the stunning Stubton Hall in Newark, the event will be hosted by BAFTA award-winning ex-Blue Peter presenter and personal development coach Katy Hill. With the choice of a morning or afternoon session, guests can expect drop-in wellness experiences, engaging talks, hands-on demonstrations and activities, as well as the chance to network and meet others who understand the challenges of going the extra mile.
With the aim of empowering attendees to make informed choices about how to enhance their lives, there’ll be a range of lifestyle brands as well as a series of panel discussions from experts, each designed to showcase innovations that can make a difference to everyday living.
During the day, Motorfinity, which provides discounts on cars for the UK’s frontline service workforce, will also be offering test drives on state-of-the-art Electric Vehicles (EV) from brands such as Audi, Volkswagen, Hyundai, Toyota and Lexus, giving people who are curious about making the change an opportunity to try the technology first-hand.
Rachel Ramsay, marketing director at Motorfinity, said: “Our community of NHS workers, people in the armed forces, social care experts, teachers and more, give up so much of their time and energy to help the public through incredibly challenging times. This event is all about giving back to these people, and creating a space where they can meet others who share the same experiences.
“Beyond work, it’s no secret that women can often carry a huge mental load in their home life too. When you’re under pressure, it can be easy to run on autopilot and not have any time to think about what you actually want, especially if you’re considering making any lifestyle swaps to be more sustainable. It’s interesting that our own research found that 17% of our frontline worker audience are considering making the move to an EV. This is a good start, and our event will give people the space to learn more about this technology as we hope to increase interest in EVs, as well as lots of other exciting sustainable brands.
“We’re bringing this together all under one roof for a day that will give people the chance to reset and learn how they can continue to make a positive impact, without breaking the bank.”
Alongside a wider panel of inspiring women, host Katy Hill will run her ‘Limitless’ workshop, offering an uplifting and practical session designed to empower people with the tools to set powerful boundaries, find joy in the everyday journey and thrive in every situation.
Guests can also browse a curated selection lifestyle brands in a pop-up market, with items ranging from jewellery to homeware, while a drop-in wellness room provides a dedicated space to enjoy quick glow-ups or completely recharge. A range of Riese & Müller e-bikes are also available to try out, while further talks provide a space to ask questions and bust myths around the future of sustainable transport.
Rebecca Day, chief executive at She’s Electric, said: “Since our launch, She’s Electric has had the pleasure of hosting some fantastic events, but this one is quite special to me personally. I spent an extended period of time in hospital before and after my son was born, but the experience was made much more manageable thanks to the work of hundreds of incredible people who helped me.
“I’d always appreciated the support that frontline service workers give to the public, but this made me realise how incredibly indebted we are to the people who work for the NHS, and all of the other services in our country. If you’re not in the sector, it’s difficult to put yourselves in the shoes of people who, at work, often take on huge emotional and mental loads day in, and day out.
“I’m thrilled to be able to use our platform to support such a worthy community of people, people who are the true heroes of the UK and deserve all the thanks and praise they can get.”
EVOLVE HOUSE takes place at Stubton Hall, Newark on Sunday, 28th September, where attendees can choose to attend the morning or afternoon session.
