Farnsfield husband and wife duo Suzie and Rob Stanton were star guests at a national event thrown by home care company Home Instead UK.
The occasion celebrated the pair taking the brand to 250 franchises by establishing Home Instead Mansfield in 2022.
With a background in running a ready meals business for elderly people, they saw the benefits of people living at home in their later years and were inspired to establish a home care company.
Home Instead Mansfield has a team of care professionals who deliver care to older people in their own homes, including personal care, such as help with dressing and bathing, companionship, and specialist dementia care. There is now a team of around 16 care professionals, who collectively deliver around 1,400 hours of care to more than 40 clients.
Following a year of successful business, Suzie and Rob were invited to attend Home Instead’s event celebrating 250 of its franchise offices across the UK.
Suzie said: “Establishing a new business of any kind is a big step. But it’s so rewarding knowing that you’re making it possible for older people to stay living in the home they love. Already we have provided families with the reassurance that their loved one is comfortable, safe and happy at home. It has been a huge honour.”
Rob added: “We had a fantastic day celebrating being the 250th franchise for such a well-respected brand. We met other franchise owners who are much further ahead in their business venture. It’s so exciting seeing what lies ahead for us.”
