Not-for-profit provider takes over care home

Share:

The Orders of St John Care Trust (OSJCT) has taken over the running of Kings Court care home.

Located in Newark, the 66-bed care home provides residential and dementia care.

OSJCT said the move would strengthen the organisation’s ability to support older people and their families in communities where care is needed most.

As one of the UK’s leading not-for-profit care providers, OSJCT is driven by a charitable mission to deliver exceptional care and support.

By reinvesting resources into person-centred services, skilled employees and welcoming environments, it said it ensures residents benefit from compassionate care that promotes independence, dignity, and wellbeing.

Chief executive Dan Hayes said: “We are delighted to welcome the residents and employees of Kings Court to the trust, and to begin this new chapter for the home together.

“Our focus is on providing outstanding care and our new residents and their families can be assured that their wellbeing will be at the heart of everything we do.”

Kings Court — named in honour of the coronation of King Charles III, which took place in the same month the care home opened — offers an all-inclusive experience.

Residents benefit from 24-hour care, access to an on-site salon providing hairdressing and chiropody services, a cinema room, a varied programme of activities and much more.
