Local estate agency Alasdair Morrison & Mundys is entering a new era as its Newark and Southwell offices start to trade simply as Mundys from 1st October.

The change follows the successful integration of Alasdair Morrison & Partners’ sales division into Mundys, following its acquisition by Mundys in 2024.

Since then, the two businesses have worked closely together, merging Alasdair Morrison’s long-standing local knowledge and property expertise with Mundys’ wider regional network, marketing resources, and professional services.

They said the move to the Mundys name represented the next stage of the successful partnership, while maintaining the local service and relationships that clients have come to know and trust.

Simon Bentley, senior partner, said: “This is an exciting step forward for our Newark and Southwell teams. While the name above the door is changing, our commitment to our clients and the communities we serve remains the same.

“We have spent the last two years working closely together and have seen first-hand the benefits that combining our local expertise with the wider strength and resources of Mundys can bring.

“Trading under one name will allow us to build on that success and offer our clients even greater opportunities, while continuing to provide the personal, professional service they expect from our experienced local teams.”

Mundys now has offices in Lincoln, Newark, Southwell, and Market Rasen. As well as helping people sell their properties, the Mundys name also brings access to a broader range of property services, including residential sales and lettings, commercial property, surveys and valuations, new homes and development advice, and mortgage and protection services.

The Newark and Southwell teams will continue to operate locally.
