Members of Middlebeck Gymnastics Club were on hand to open a showhome open at Miller Homes’ new development at Middlebeck, Newark.
The club was set up in 2022 and has grown rapidly in size, with 180 members and classes running five nights a week at Magnus Sports Centre, close to Miller Homes’ development.
The gymnasts cut the ribbon to officially open the four-bedroom showhome, which is a Briarwood home design and has been professionally decorated and styled throughout by interior designers.
Cakes were provided by local cafe Gannets, which has a branch off Bowbridge Lane in the heart of Middlebeck.
Charlotte Sneddon, owner of Middlebeck Gymnastics Club, said: “As a locally-based group, we were honoured to be asked by Miller Homes to team up with them to open their showhome at Middlebeck.
“We all had a great time cutting the ribbon and taking a look around the showhome, which looks superb.”
Tim James, development sales manager for Miller Homes at Middlebeck, said: “Opening our showhome is an exciting moment, as it gives us the chance to show buyers what they can expect when they move into a new Miller home at Middlebeck.
“Building relationships with the local community in the areas where we build homes is always important to us, so we were pleased that Middlebeck Gymnastics Club were able to join us to mark the occasion.”
Miller Homes is the newest developer to build homes in the new community of Middlebeck, where work is currently under way nearby on a new southern link road for Newark, which will join the A46 near Farndon to the A1 at Fernwood.
The four-bedroom Briarwood showhome is now open to view at Miller Homes at Middlebeck, which is open from 10.30am to 5.30pm, Thursday to Monday.
