The quickest-ever broadband for businesses is coming to Newark, courtesy of local communications provider Bluecube and ITS Technology Group.
Shortly after bringing 10Gbps broadband to Lincoln, the companies are rolling out fibre across the country as part of the ‘Faster Britain’ campaign.
The ultrafast fibre FASTER NEWARK network is available for businesses across the town, offering speeds of up to 10gb per second to places that have long been held back by poor connectivity.
Thanks to this new partnership between Lincolnshire-based Bluecube and ITS Technology Group, the new network will cover the majority of Newark, from Farndon Road in the west to Newark Industrial Estate in the east, spanning North Gate, Lincoln Road, Beacon Hill Road, as well as city centre hotspots such as Stodman Street, Barnby Gate, and Carter Gate.
Available now, the scheme is open to any business property on-net, with no limits on the number of businesses that can connect.
Paul Reames, managing director of Bluecube, said: “This will truly be an astonishing boost for local businesses. With energy prices an acute concern for many, being able to connect with customers and suppliers quickly and reliably online is of the utmost importance for business owners.
“Having brought our unmatched broadband speeds to the city of Lincoln, I’m thrilled that we’re able to now extend our ultrafast connectivity to companies in Newark.
“For many businesses in town, FASTER NEWARK will offer speeds hundreds of times’ faster than they’re used to, with everything that means for their future growth, innovation and potential to bring inward investment to the region.
“We’re already getting our first enquiries connected and we’re excited about rolling the network out to as many businesses as we can this year.”
