Book aims to help those suffering domestic abuse

Share:

Nottingham author, speaker, poet and playwright Carrol Rowe has written a book, ‘Overcoming’, in a bid to help others overcome domestic violence.

Jamaican-born Carrol Rowe reveals how she survived traumatic circumstances of domestic violence and other related issues but remained passionate to inspire others.

She not only survived what she went through but she lifted herself to raise four children alone with little or no support from their fathers and not much support from families either.

The story is full of strength, resilience and hope to show women that they can come out of a daunting situation and become who they want to be.

Overcoming is published by New Generation Publishing, ISBN: 978-1-78955-739-8
