Nottinghamshire County Council is supporting The Big Lunch, the UK’s annual thanksgiving for neighbours and communities, which takes place this weekend (6 -7 June) – and which this year has gone virtual!
The council said: “The Big Lunch is about celebrating community connections and getting to know each other better.
“Now more than ever we need to make time for each other but we also need to stay safe, so this year we’d like to encourage the people of Notts to get talking over a cuppa and a bite to eat with The Big Virtual Lunch 2020.
“There are plenty of ways to join in the fun – online, on the phone or on your doorstep – and say “Thank you” to neighbours, communities and volunteers.”
