This Friday (8 May) marks the 75th anniversary of VE Day. We may not be able to go ahead with our planned events and get togethers, but that doesn’t mean we can’t commemorate this important occasion.

Nottinghamshire County Council – among many others – has put together lots of ways people can get involved in celebrating the occasion at home.

️There is the chance to download colouring and craft activities for the kids, explore WWII and VE Day in pictures, download a song sheet for the nation’s sing-a-long, try recipes for Victory sponge cakes and scones and test your knowledge in VE Day quizzes
