Win tickets to classic car rally

Posted onPosted on 8th Jun

The Wonderland Classic and Sports Car Festival is hoping to be among the first shows of 2021 when it returns for a 20th year at Ferry Farm, Hoveringham, on 26th and 27th June – and you can win free tickets to the event here.

Organisers hope the Government’s planned lifting of legal limits on social contact a couple of days earlier means they can go ahead as planned.

On the Saturday there will be a Car Of The Night prize package and trophy, to be awarded at 8pm, as well as live music from Radio Romantic featuring Joe Sunday, winner of the National Tribute Awards 2017 and 2018, and Ruth Mills.

Organisers say if you love 80s Pop, Ska and New Wave and music by the likes of The Human League, Blondie, Madness, Billy Idol, A-Ha, Belinda Carlisle and Soft Cell you will enjoy the show.

It is free entry on Saturday, the preview day, from noon to 8pm.

The News Journal has six pairs of free tickets for the Sunday of the Wonderland Classic and Sports Car Festival — 24th June — to give away as prizes in this competition.
To enter, simply answer the question:

‘This year Wonderland is celebrating how many festival years, 20, 25, or 30?’

and email the answer to competitions@news-journal.co.uk before 14th June.

The News Journal’s usual competition rules apply.

“The preview day is an opportunity for the public to come and enjoy many of the stunning vehicles at a leisurely pace that will, on Sunday, be amongst the very busy ‘Show ‘n’ Shine’ displays,” added organisers.

“Sunday (10am-4pm) is Show ‘n’ Shine’ Day and judging includes categories for vehicles from around the world manufactured or registered before 31st December 2010, including British classics, American ‘Muscle’ cars; and a mouth-watering display of European classic and sports car legends, stunning models from across the Ford range, custom cars, Rods, vintage cars, modified cars and vehicles of special interest, such as kit cars, military and commercial vehicles.”

Vehicles registered after 31st December 2010 are very welcome but are not eligible for judging.

The Classicwise Collection will again be the headline sponsor for this year’s festival. This will provide owners, enthusiasts and visitors with the opportunity to view a range of classic vehicles for sale and to learn more about the wide range of services that The Classicwise Collection offers.
There will also be traders, food outlets and the chance to camp over on Friday and Saturday nights.

Only pre-booked entries are eligible for judging.
