Members of Girlguiding Nottinghamshire put together a Thank You video to express their gratitude to NHS staff and key workers for their coronavirus work.
Katie Farrell, growth and engagement co-ordinator for Girlguiding Nottinghamshire, said: “As members of Girlguiding, we are all aware of the importance of saying thank you, and we feel that it is more important than ever to recognise this.”
More than 90 photos and videos were submitted for the video, covering all of the 18 Divisions in the county (including Sutton, pictured).
Members from every section appear in the video, including Rainbows (aged 5-7), Brownies (7-10), Guides (10-14), Rangers (14-18) and adult leaders, as well as members of the Trefoil Guild for 18 year-olds and over.
Included were photos and videos from Girlguiding’s recent #uniform4uniforms event, where all members of Girlguiding Nottinghamshire were encouraged to wear their uniform.
The video ends with a message from Jackie Brocklehurst, County Commissioner for Girlguiding Nottinghamshire. She also mentions the Adventures at Home programme, which is a series of activities available online that can be used by all young people.
