Posted onPosted on 16th Jun

Red Roofs Residential Care Home achieved an Excellent rating in every assessed category, following its Quality Monitoring Audit carried out by Nottinghamshire County Council.

The Newark home, part of the Red Homes Healthcare Group, was commended for its secure and confidential record-keeping, well-maintained facilities, and engaging outdoor spaces.

Inspectors praised the home’s well-organised and easy to navigate care plans, describing them as holistic and thorough in addressing all aspects of person-centred care.

Each resident’s care plan includes photographs, and a detailed life history, with a standout feature being the My Life Story section.

The home is led by registered manager Patricia Smith, who has worked with Red Homes for 36 years and managed Red Roofs for the past nine.

“I am beyond proud of my superstar team at Red Roofs,” she said. “Achieving an Excellent rating in every section reflects their dedication, compassion, and daily commitment to providing the very best care. As always, their hard work shines through.”

Chief executive Roger Daniel added: “This result is a true reflection of the hard work and dedication of the Red Roofs team. We are proud of their unwavering commitment to high-quality care.

“Their expertise and professionalism being recognised alongside their empathetic and compassionate manner is incredibly valuable.”
