The East Midlands Chamber (Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire) will be acting as a registered intermediary for businesses wanting to join the Government’s new Kickstart scheme.
The £2billion scheme aims to help young people into funded six-month work placements.
Businesses can register their interest for the Kickstart scheme here.
This is a great opportunity for businesses to introduce new roles into their organisation and the scheme will give young people the skills and experience they need at the start of their career.
As a leading business support organisation in the region, the Chamber is acting as a registered intermediary for businesses.
A spokesman said: “We will collate registries of interest and help businesses to make sure they are prepared for their work placement.
“A series of information sessions will be running from the 16-18 September for businesses to get more information about the scheme. Delegates will also have the opportunity to ask their questions to experts from the Chamber team.
To get started all you need to do is fill in a few details via the hub on the Chamber’s website, where you can find out more information and register your interest.
