Market stall replaces dementia drop-in event

Share:

The charity Trent Dementia is to host a stall on Southwell Market on Thursday, 4th July, from 10.30am to 1.30pm.

Project worker Suzanne Osborne will be at the stall with information about its services and the newly-formed Dementia Drop In that the charity is running in the town.

“We had planned to hold the drop-in at Kings Court Community Centre on that day, but unfortunately we’ve had to cancel that because the community centre is to be used as a polling station,” she said.

“I still wanted to be on hand though, so I’m thankful to the town council for supporting us with a market stall on the day instead.”

The Dementia Drop In will resume at Kings Court Community Centre on Thursday, 1st August. Anyone affected by dementia is welcome to call in at the regular events on the first Thursday of the month, from 10.30am to 1.30pm.

For more information, email [email protected] or call 07300 657575. Trent Dementia aims to improve the quality of care, support, and wellbeing of people who are living with dementia in the East Midlands and beyond.
