A spectacular firework show at Newark’s Renaissance Kelham Hall was hailed a glittering success as families enjoyed a funfair, street food, and live music by Matthew Stephens.
The sell-out show was the first public event under the hall’s new ownership and has set the bar high, said managing director Stuart Downham.
“It was a huge success and it has been fantastic to see the local community coming together and enjoying Kelham Hall again,” he added.
“We curated the show carefully to provide fun and entertainment for all ages, and we intend to expand on this for our future events. We look forward to maintaining our high standards for our tribute nights and outdoor festivals next year.”
Stuart said the staff were thrilled to see Kelham Hall alive with families having fun, explaining: “We have a great team at Renaissance at Kelham Hall and look forward to becoming the premiere venue for a wide-ranging calendar of events. I would like to thank the people who attended the show, who came from all over Newark, Lincolnshire, and Nottinghamshire, and hope we will see them again.”
Abi Moody, festival and events manager at Renaissance Kelham Hall, added: “The event was a fantastic success and we have had such positive feedback from families who attended.
“Kelham Hall provided a magical backdrop for the fireworks, and it was heart-warming for staff to see the smiles on everyone’s faces. We owe our thanks to the public for joining us and to the stalls, rides and entertainment for making this a night to remember.”
