Dancers in the sporting spotlight

Young performing arts students from Stagecoach Southwell, alongside six other schools from across the country, will put on a show-stopping performance of Proud Mary, Thank You For The Music and Let’s Get Loud before kick-off and during half-time at the Saracens showdown rugby game against the Bristol Bears, at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London, on 26th March.

The students were originally set to perform in March 2020 before the pandemic struck.

Briony Tanner, senior marketing and communications executive at Stagecoach, said: “We are thrilled to take part in this amazing event.

“It is the first time in two years that Stagecoach performed in front of such a big audience.

“It is an amazing opportunity for us to have our students grace the stands alongside the Saracens and Bristol Bears fans, being together to celebrate the big showdown.

“We hope to put on more amazing performances like these throughout the year!”

Stagecoach Performing Arts Southwell is part of a network of more than 2,000 extra-curricular schools worldwide.
