Hospice charity Beaumond House Hospice Care will open a new clearance charity shop in Newark, offering shoppers the opportunity to secure bargains on final-chance items.
Located at Richardson House, Sherwood Avenue, the store, which will launch on Thursday, 3rd July, at 12.30pm, will have end-of-line items from other Beaumond House charity shops across the region.
The aim is to ensure that nothing is wasted and that all of the charity’s stores offer refreshed stock to customers.
The new clearance store also plans to feature a creative area, where pre-loved items could be upcycled, repurposed, and reimagined.
Sally Thomas, head of retail at the charity, said: “We’re excited to welcome shoppers to our new clearance store, which will see us turn generosity into opportunity as we offer a wide variety of final-chance items at heavily discounted prices.
“Because the stock has come from our other charity shops, it really will be the last chance to buy these items and once they’re gone, they’re gone, so make sure to secure your bargains right away!
“Shopping with us not only helps raise vital funds for our free, supportive palliative care, but it also supports a more thoughtful, environmentally-friendly way to buy. Every purchase reduces waste, supports reuse, and helps fund care in our local community — what’s not to love?
“We look forward to seeing you all at our opening and you never know – you might find exactly what you’re looking for at an unmissable price!”
