Charity cyclists raising money for hospices

Share:

A team of drivers and workshop staff from Marshalls Coaches, Sutton-on-Trent, are cycling 130 miles in aid of two charities on 1st August.

Already they have twice smashed their fundraising target and are now hoping to raise £3,000 – £1,500 each for Beaumond House Community Hospice, Newark, and John Eastwood Hospice, Sutton-inAshfield.

The fundraisers said: “Both charities are very close to our hearts and we would like to ‘give something back.’

“The staff at Marshalls have strong connections with both charities. The wife of one of the management team recently received palliative care from John Eastwood before passing away on 15th May. One of the event organisers had both parents cared for by Beaumond House Hospice.”
