Two of Newark’s independent businesses helped to put the spotlight on some of their fellow independents in the town in a unique event.

Les Jones, director of Inizio Hair, and Francesca Tricarico, director of Future Cloud, dashed around the town, calling in on around a dozen businesses, dressed in shell suits just like the inspiration of their challenge – TV’s Anneka Rice, of 80s television show Treasure Hunt.

They were filmed by Kevin Guthrie. of Guthrie Therapy. as the event was streamed live on Facebook.

Among the dashing duo’s stop-offs was London Eye Bespoke Eyewear, Honeytrap Lingerie, Soup Dwagon, Sweatpea Flowers, Lace Boutique and Grace Gentle.
