Housebuilder Allison Homes East has sponsored Newark Brazil Under 7s football team for the current season.
Newark Brazil FC, based near the housebuilder’s Kings Meadow development, has 230 players aged from four to 15.
A donation from Allison Homes East enabled the team to buy new home and away kits, and long-sleeved training tops.
As part of the sponsorship, the company also attended a family fun day event at Newark Rugby Club to celebrate the end of the previous season, with trophies presented by regional sales manager William Wallace.
“We are very excited to be sponsoring Newark Brazil Under-7s,” he said.
“With the proximity to our Kings Meadow development, it was a no brainer on our end to give back to the community in this way.
“It was great to see them all at the family fun day event. It was a real success and everyone had such a great time.
“I’m so glad I got to be there to celebrate the team and even hand out some awards.”
