Business urged to take part in tourism survey

Share:

Nottinghamshire County Council is asking businesses to join its tourism survey.

A spokesman said: “It has been a very tough time for all of our businesses, especially those in the tourism and hospitality industry.

“We are, therefore, keen to get insight from local business owners as to what extent COVID-19 has affected them. This will help us lobby Government and highlight the support needed for this crucial industry which is worth almost £2b and employs more than 23,000 people locally.

“When the time comes, tourism is going to be key to helping our great county and the UK recover from the economic impact of this crisis, but the industry needs to be supported by the Government now.

“Please let us know how COVID-19 has affected your business, including visitor accommodation, attractions, events and bars and restaurants.

“Feedback is welcomed before 5pm, Monday 8th June.”
