Three volunteers at Newark Hospital have been presented with long service awards — and thanked by Sherwood Forest Hospitals Trust.

Dot Hallam, who is pictured top, received her certificate from the Community Involvement team, after celebrating 20 years at the hospital.

She has had roles in various departments, including the coffee shop, helpdesk, and MRI.

Jacqui Cox (above) who volunteered initially in Pre-operative Assessment and in recent years on Main Reception, received her 15-year award.

Angela Laverack (below), who started as a chaplaincy volunteer, has more recently worked in Podiatry.
She received a 10-year award.

A spokesperson for the trust, which operates the hospital, said: “Thank you to each and every one for the contribution you make to patients, their families, and colleagues across our hospitals. You really do make a difference day in and day out —and it is greatly appreciated.”
