Barratt Homes site manager Liam Pettet, 32, has won a top national award for the quality of homes being built at a new housing development in Newark.
The National House Building Council (NHBC) recognised Liam for his site management capabilities with a Seal of Excellence Award, marking him as among the best in the UK.
Liam, who is overseeing the developer’s Fernwood Village development, said: “It’s great working at the Fernwood Village development. There is a lot of energy about the site and the team are absolutely brilliant to work with.
“It is fantastic to be an award winner and it means a lot to me. I am really proud to have won three Seal of Excellence awards.
“I think being an award-winning site reflects massively on the quality of the development. We are running with a 100% customer satisfaction score from our surveys, which is testament to the quality of the homes we are producing.
“I would like to thank my team, without them and the efforts they put in everyday, winning these awards wouldn’t be possible.”
Mark Cotes, managing director at Barratt Homes North Midlands, added: “Our site managers are on the ground each and every day, making sure Barratt Homes housing developments are operating smoothly and to the high standards we set.
“We’d like to congratulate all of our award winners for their continued hard work.”
