Ravenshead and Blidworth Rotary Club is backing Food Aid – Blidworth’s Christmas hampers appeal.
Food Aid – Blidworth was established in response to the Covid-19 pandemic in March by a coalition of local community organisations.
It is based within the Sherwood Forest Community Church building and is open to all who need its services.
The project is working as a part of Blidworth — On The Move Support Network and, with the support of Rotarians it is planning to provide Christmas hampers for up to 80 of the most needy and deserving families in local communities.
In addition to the support from the Rotary Club, the project has also received financial backing from Blidworth Community Association, Blidworth and Rainworth Fight Against Covid-19 and Sherwood Forest Community Church, Blidworth.
